The Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) is a powerful alliance of ten successful Victorian organisations committed to working together to advance the control and cure of cancer: Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne Health (including The Royal Melbourne Hospital), The University of Melbourne, The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, The Royal Women’s Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital, Western Health, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (including St Vincent’s Institute), Austin Health (including the Olivia Newton John Cancer Research Institute and Austin Lifesciences) and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.
Ovarian Cancer Australia is the independent national organisation founded in 2001 that takes action for people affected by ovarian cancer. Ovarian Cancer Australia provides support for women and their families, raises community awareness of ovarian cancer, advocates for improved services for women and promotes and funds high impact research. Ovarian Cancer Australia’s vision is to save lives and ensure that no woman with ovarian cancer walks alone.
